An easy program for you to make your own sprays. I have never used it but I found it on another site and thought that providing you with it might help.

This will help you create a spray or customize and existing spray.

This program will convert your picture to a pldecal.wad file.

Directions for Counter-Strike 1.6 Steam

1. Save the spray you want to your hard drive or desktop.
2. Download and install the decal converter
3. Open your decal converter program
4. Go to File
5. Open picture
6. Browse to the spray you saved
7. Adjust the size of the spray to the size it was on the site.(if you don't make it the
8. Same size it will look like shit.)
9. Then go to the Decal
10. Make decal
11. Select Add
12. Browse to your Desktop
13. Select Ok
14. And Ok again
15. A message will appear that you are about to over ride any existing files blah blah
16. just hit ok again
17. After the file has been made you must change the name of it to tempdecal.wad
18. Place the file is this location C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\"your
19. email-for-steam"\counter-strike\cstrike
20. Then you must delete your custom.hpk file for it to work.
21. THE END!!!!!!!!!!

If you get an error message then please follow these instructions

• Instead of saving your pldecal.wad to your cs folder in steam save it to your deskstop.
• Rename the file to tempdecal.wad when it’s on your desktop
• Then open the directory that is listed above and move the tempdecal.wad file into the folder.
• Continue with the deletion of the files listed above and you should be fine.

Then Follow these instructions

How to use HLtagconverter
1. download hltag converter
2. open the program
3. hit open image button at top right corner

4. select your image and

5-hit open


5. if your picture is larger than the size that valve allows then hit adjust image button

6. you can auto size your picture (recomended) or select your own size. by using the drop down boxes provided

7. hit apply changes and convert to 256 colors at the bottom of the window

8. save tag

9. select export wad file and
10-hit ok

10-HERE IS THE TRICKY PART 10. save this file in your cstrike/czero folder follow this path to get to it C:/Programfiles/steam/steamapps/youremail/counter-strike/cstrike (for CZ just replace with condition-zero/czero)

11. name your file tempdecal

12. hit save
13. go to your cstrike/czero folder

14. find the tempdecal.wad file

15. right click on it and go to properties

16. select read-only

17. hit ok

You may or may not have to delete the custom.hpk file. I do not ever have to delete this file but sometimes you have to. if this file reappears in your folder it is ok.

Your spray may take a few rounds or even a map chenge before it will load into your game so please give it time before you have a fit about it not working.
